Basic Japanese I 5 105 minutes 5 day / week
This course is for students who have never learned the Japanese language, or have learned only a little. The emphasis of this course is to provide students opportunity to acquire basic skills for conversation, reading and writing, which are necessary for daily life in Japan. At the completion of this course, students should have acquired hiragana and katakana, 145 kanji, essential grammar, and basic vocabulary as well as become able to read simple texts in Japanese.
Survival Japanese 3 105 minutes 3 day / week
This course is for students who have never learned the Japanese language, or have learned only a little. Also, the main target of this course are the students who will be staying in Japan for a short period of time (6 months) . The emphasis of this course will be basic speaking and listening skills necessary for simple conversation in daily life as well as writing and reading. In class, students will have practices focused on practical situations so that students should be able to start communicating in Japanese immediately.

Basic Japanese II 5 105 minutes 5 day / week
This course is for students who have learned the Japanese language for 150 hours at a university and mastered hiragana, katakana, and approximately 150 kanji and the 1st half of basic grammar. The emphasis of this course is to provide students opportunity to acquire basic skills for conversation, reading and writing necessary for daily student life in Japan. At the completion of this course, students should have acquired the second half of basic grammar and vocabulary. Students should also become able to read simple texts in Japanese. It includes the second half of basic grammar, vocabulary, and 172 kanji (in addition to 145 kanji at the level of first half of basic). as well as become able to read and write about 170 kanji.

After review the basic grammar, grammar of  intermediate low level are taught.
Intermediate Japanese IB 1 105 minutes 1 day / week
Listening and  speaking skills using basic grammar and intermediate low level are taught.
Intermediate Japanese IC 1 105 minutes 1 day / week
After review the basic kanji and vocabulary, kanji vocabulary and reading skiils ofintermediate low leve are taught.

This course is for students who have basic Japanese knowledege. The course aims to develop four communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) by learning and practicing intermediate level expressions and vocabulary.
Intermediate Japanese Speaking 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Basic speaking skills are taught, using basic- and intermediate- level grammar and vocabulary.
Intermediate Japanese Writing 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Basic writing skills are taught, using basic- and intermediate-level grammar and vocabulary.
Intermediate Japanese Reading 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Basic reading skills are taught through reading texts written with basic- and intermediate-level grammar and vocabulary.

This course is for students who have mastered intermediate low level of Japanese. The course aims to develop four communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) by learning and practicing pre advanced level expreesios and vocabulary.
Pre-Advanced Japanese Speaking 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or

Higher-level speaking skills are taught, using pre-advanced-level grammar and vocabulary.
Pre-Advanced Japanese Writing 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Higher-level writing skills are taught, using pre-advanced-level grammar and vocabulary.
Pre-Advanced Japanese Reading 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Higher-level reading skills are taught through reading texts written with pre-advanced-level grammar and vocabulary.
Pre-Advanced Japanese Kanji and Vocabulary 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or

Pre-advanced-level competence in kanji and vocabulary is taught.
Pre-Advanced Japanese Grammar 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Pre-advanced-level grammatical competence is taught.
Pre-Advanced Japanese in Economics 2 105 minutes 1 day (Semester) or
2 days(Quarter) / week
Knowledge of Japanese economics and business, and of the Japanese terms used in these fields, is taught through reading articles and watching TV programs at the pre-advanced level.

Knowledge of Japanese economics and business, and of the Japanese terms used in these fields, is taught through reading articles and watching TV programs suitable for advanced-level learners.
