Student Support Services on Campus
Student Support Center
Hitotsubashi University set up Student Support Center in October 2004. Consisting of the Student Counseling and Advising Room and the Career Support Office, the Center supports students' campus life in cooperation with faculty and staff at Hitotsubashi University and institutions outside the university.
Student Advising and Counseling Room
Please visit the Student Advising and Counseling Room whenever you have any concerns in your campus life, such as academic matters, careers, daily life, economic situation, sexual harassment, extracurricular activities, health, mental health, interpersonal relationships, study abroad, etc. Faculty and counselors (who are clinical psychologists) provide consultation and advice and refer students to appropriate offices and institutions on- and off-campus.
Career Support Office
The Career Support Office aims to support students' job hunting and careers. The office provides individual counseling and career resources and holds company information sessions and career guidance seminars. By strengthening cooperation with offices and organizations on- and off-campus, it provides broad support for job hunting. It also assists with peer support for job hunting including the activities of the Career Design Committee.
"Career Support for International Students" is released. (2013.07)
Harassment Counseling Room
Hitotsubashi University set up the Harassment Counseling Room to ensure an environment where all members of the university are equally respected and can focus on study, education, research and work. In addition to the chief counselors, there are counselors in each department that you can turn to. Please contact counselors if you have any concerns regarding sexual harassment.
University Health Center
Being healthy is an important factor in making a success of your campus life. Always be aware of the state of your health, and please visit the University Health Center when you need any help. Medical staff at the Center provide consultation and referral services.
