About Keimeikan

Residence Hall Keimeikan was designed as a new type of single-room accommodation for mixed occupation by graduate students and international students, based on the new concepts of improved convenience (fully equipped with furniture and fixtures) and availability compared to traditional dormitories. It stands as a new student residence hall promoting the globalization of Hitotsubashi University.

  1. In addition to the above, residents will be charged for electricity. (individual contract) . Water bills are included in the common service fee.
  2. The entrance fee is charged when taking up residence.
    Even if you currently reside at Keimeikan, you will need to pay the entrance fee if you intend to reside at Keimeikan again.
  3. The Internet fees are included in the rent.
  4. Please submit a Departure Notice (248KB) to the office 14 days before your desired move-out date.

Barrier-free room In addition to the amenities in the rooms for type A & B, extra wardrobe and washing machine
Communal facilities Four washing machines and four dryers in each laundry area for men and women,one multipurpose toilet, ten parcel delivery boxes, and three fire extinguishers on each floor.
* Multipurpose toilet: This toilet can be used by the physically disabled, those with children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those with other injuries or illnesses.

Internet

  1. Each room has LAN ports. The Internet can be accessed by connecting a cable (not provided by the university) to a computer.
  2. There is no need to enter into a contract with an internet service provider separately.

Application for Keimeikan

There are 2 application periods each year (Feburary and July).
We do not accept applications outside of the designated period.
For information about the application, please contact Students Services Division. *mostly in Japanese Residents will be selected by lottery.
