This course is for students who have never learned the Japanese language, or have learned only a little. Also, the main target of this course are the students who will be staying in Japan for a short period of time (6 months) . The emphasis of this course will be basic speaking and listening skills necessary for simple conversation in daily life as well as writing and reading. In class, students will have practices focused on practical situations so that students should be able to start communicating in Japanese immediately. |

This course is for students who have mastered hiragana and katakana, approximately 150 kanji characters, and the first half of beginner-level grammar. The course is designed to develop practical skills in the four skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking Japanese. The class will provide many exercises based on situations that students will encounter in their daily lives, aiming to enable students to communicate in Japanese outside of class immediately. |
