Japanese Language Education Program
Japanese language courses at Hitotsubashi are organized into 6 levels, from Basic 1 and 2, Intermediate 1 and 2, to Advanced 1 and 2. The courses stress balanced skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, and place a special focus on the academic Japanese required in the various fields of the social sciences including commerce, economics, law, sociology, and international relations.
Hitotsubashi University Global Education Program
HGP offers interdisciplinary courses in English, designed for both international and Japanese students. Students can choose from a variety of courses in the social sciences. The program provides in-depth learning opportunities in the fields of commerce, economics, law, sociology, IT, Japanese affairs and others. The program also includes some courses specifically designed for students who would like to improve their academic skills in English.
